Here’s a list of the essential documents you’ll typically need for your mortgage application. Don’t feel overwhelmed; many of these documents are likely already at your fingertips
Personal Identification:
Social Security Number (SSN) or Taxpayer ID (ITIN) for all borrowers
Photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, etc.)
Income Verification:
Most recent pay stubs (covering at least 30 days)
W-2 forms for the last two years (or 1099s or K-1s if self-employed)
